I am a Catholic Homeschooling Mother of a large family trying to live out God's will for me one day at a time.I once read the following quote " How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives..."I have been really inspired to live my vocation more effectively and joyfully by reading other Moms' blogs and I hope to add what little I can to the mix.

Has Anybody Seen The Van?
Upon awakening and realizing we had lost power,I swung into plan S and made a pot of perked coffee on the gas stove. It was as delicious as when served around a campfire. We had already accepted the possibility of a long wait when the power came back on 2 hours later. On the left is a picture of our 15 passenger van. Thank goodness the Canasta players went out to shovel last night after I went to bed and got a lot done between 11:30 and 1:30 am.This morning, we shoveled for two hours and again this afternoon. It is beautiful. The grand total seems to be about 30 inches of white fluffy snow. We are thankful that we are in no danger nor hardship. Dear Lord, Please help those with no heat nor ability to cook, and those who are alone. Thank you for the manpower that you have blessed us with.Thank you for our good neighbors and help us to be good neighbors to others. Amen.
