Now that our summer break has arrived, it was time to deep clean and de-clutter the boys' room and inventory their clothing.
I have found that the best way for me to really clean (never my strong suit) is to take almost everything out of the room. The idea is not to bring anything back in that doesn't need to stay and to dust each item and place it where it needs to go before returning it.
After we got started, the boys asked if they could move downstairs to this large room that recently became vacant when their older brother moved out. It seemed like a good time for that and now we had a fun project on our hands!
By the end of the day the boys had a much bigger room and everything was cleaner and better organized, to God be the Glory!
This is Sam's side.
This is John's. They each have a reading lamp and some shelving, with their dressers on their own side of the room.
This is the love seat or "two person couch " which we call it that will act as a clothes catch for them. They wanted to have this sheet hung up by the hooks already present for fun.
We are now considering using their old bedroom as a guest room and a possible "nursery" for our grandchildrens' naps.
