A Three Hour Tour

Jeff decided that his beach trip would be complete by renting a powerboat!

He made the arrangements, on-line of course, for a boat which would be turn-key ready, to be delivered to a nearby marina. Notice any resemblance to his Grandpa C? Chelsea was up for the nautical enterprise!
In discussing the trip, we all agreed that it would be much safer and more fun for all involved if instead of having Jeff  or Larry drive it, we would ask our friend Greg who owns a boat bigger than this and has tons of experience! He agreed and said that He and Eve would be delighted!
The preparations also included a trip to the beach souvenir shop to allow everyone to pick out a festive hat to wear on the boat. Jeff preferred Chelsea's hat to his own.
The day before this adventure was to occur, we had a blast on the beach discussing the Three Hour Tour of Gilligan's Island. A few in our party had never heard of that show. By the way, I have determined that keyboards need to have a musical note symbol which I would use with the lyrics to the theme song.
There's Gilligan...Hands down we all agreed that he would be Jon!
The Skipper, too.( Jeff)
The Millionaire and his Wife....They cracked up when I sang this as they arrived at the marina! Eve said that they technically didn't qualify but close enough!
The Movie Star! ( Either Lynnie or Natalie) but they didn't actually go.
The Professor and Mary Anne....Here on Gilligan's Isle.....
Instead of going out onto the ocean, They took the boat inside the Inter-Coastal Waterway and went tubing and swimming off the side.At some points the water was only a few feet deep and it was fantastic to have an experienced pilot navigating.
Here is Greg getting the 10 minute orientation that came with the rental. Despite their mother's warnings, this group of adults chose not to wear life preservers. They were on the boat however, which is the law, and I saw Greg counting them before he took command.
Thankfully, by the Grace of God,, the "Minnow" didn't get lost! The boat and everyone aboard arrived back safely and soundly and they had all had a wonderful time. It was actually a five hour rental. When they got back to the beach house, Larry and I had a Surf and Turf Dinner waiting for them which we all enjoyed.
