It's always nice to be forewarned when snow is in the forecast. They were calling for a few inches to start in the afternoon.
Since I had enough milk and toilet paper already, all that was needed was to stock up on firewood.
We have three sizes of wood. Big chunks, thin pieces that have been trimmed to get a small fire going and last of all downed twigs from the yard for kindling.
We got only an inch or two of very wet snow.
We'll take what we can get because this year, snow is at a premium.
They enjoyed it while they had it and it all melted the next day!
