I had no intention of setting up this blog post when we sat everyone down to read today's Mass readings from The Magnificat. There is no way to make it to church but it is easy enough to pray as a family at home in this extreme instance.However, when Meg put
the doily on her head, there was no stopping me. The camera joined us for the rest of it. There is nothing wrong with praying and having a little fun at the same time! No doubt, our sweet Lord loves it.
Miss J. brought her kids to "church".The Magnificat is a GREAT prayer tool because it provides the daily readings that the church has picked out for the whole month in their entirety.Although we were at home in p.j.'s (completely snowed in ), we were making a Spiritual Communion with the universal church throughout the whole world. Because it was fun, the older kids participated with smiles on their faces. Praise God!
