A Gift of Love

This is my new "Blogging Station" set up in the Living Room by Jeff. He has worked all week to establish a wireless network in the house which now includes this extra computer that he harvested from bits and pieces at his apartment. We are ready for the 21st Century and could probably connect to Mars. He also installed a Nanny Network Security program that is free. He showed us how to log off the computer quickly and easily by pushing the little "window" key and the "L" key at the same time. This  requires the computer to have a password entered before anyone else can get on it. During the Blizzard, he ordered a 23 inch monitor, a new mouse and a wireless router that arrived in a couple of days but was stuck in a Fed Ex warehouse 20 miles away for impassable roads. He drove down there, retrieved the packages and set the new items up that night. This evening, I was able to upload my pictures from the Living Room and they went onto the same place that I've been storing them in the computer downstairs. He did this all with incredible patience and proficiency as we asked for many tutorials in using the new equipment. We could have never hired a technician to do this because we never would have thought of it. This was a gift of love. Thanks a million, Son. Happy Valentines Day.

We got a fun envelope in the mail today full of Valentines from Kristy and Tim who are celebrating their first married Valentines Day! Notice the construction paper hearts attached to the outside of the envelope which traveled through the mail "unbroken". Happy Valentines Day to our other newlyweds, Greg and Cindi who are also celebrating  their Birthdays!
