Our Homeschool group had our annual May Crowning today. The weather was beautiful and it was well attended.The kids were dressed up and carried flowers and ribbon sticks as they processed singing Marian Hymns. Our pastor lead us in the Litany of Loretto and we said the last decade of the Glorious Mysteries, The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth.Afterward, we all attended the noon Mass with the kids sitting with their friends.
Then we went across the street for a covered dish lunch in a picnic pavilion.All of the kids played at the playground and the Moms enjoyed some fellowship.It was a nice occasion and a great way to celebrate First Friday.
