Gilchrist Gallery

Next, we happened upon the Gilchrist Gallery, an art gallery open for free browsing. The owners didn't bat an eye as we walked in with our brood of children and welcomed us.
Life just kept getting better and better as we Feasted our eyes on beautiful paintings, furnishings and open, spacious, well-lit rooms.

a local artist has scenes of Cumberland displayed,
This building is available to be rented for parties and receptions. I could see how appealing that would be.
I was intrigued by the round table set up in the middle of the Library room. That table looks inviting for playing cards, perusing a book off the shelves, or for setting a tray of refreshments upon!
The kids' favorite exhibit here was this green cloak which they went crazy for!
It reminded them all instantly of Ana's cape in the movie "Frozen".

Seeing this art gallery was an unexpected treat and really added to the enjoyment of our whole day.
