Back to the Barn

Since the girls have started riding horses, I have always wanted to take the month of February "off". Because of the  Blizzard, we were able to do that this year. The ring was covered in snow and could not be ridden in. But now that March is here, it was time to get back to the barn.

Whike the girls tacked up, Miss J. got right to work.

The boys had a lot of fun today, also. Usually they have to be careful not to spook the horses and can't run around like they would like to but they were terrific today and no one minded their hi-jinks.

We had time for a little "van-schooling".

Then, after getting a bite off the dollar menu, we headed to the practice session for the 4H Share the Fun Skit Night.

Natalie and Taylor rehearsed "YMCA".

 

Then, the older girls practiced the Cha Cha dance which Tori really enjoyed.

The kids had fun watching the performances. It was a very nice afternoon and evening.
